Kalahari
is a stocky, very well built miniature donkey jack. He has good
bone, and a very pretty head. He is spotted, mostly brown, with
two diamond spots on his left hip, and an L on his right, along
with the bald face. He is easy to halter and lead. We think he
would make a good driving jack as he likes to move out. He currently
lives in a jack group with our other mature jacks, and has a
few scuff marks from playing with them. The scrapes will go away
when he is no longer in with jacks. We think that keeping the
jacks well socialized in groups makes for better breeding behavior,
and a better temperament overall.
We are offering Kalahari as
a breeding jack for $1000, or if you would be interested in him
as a gelding, we will geld him here and sell him for $700.

Lace, what a pretty face! Chantilly is a sweet spotted jennet.
On her right side she has a spot shaped like a tiara, on the
other side a spot shaped like a puzzle piece. Her mostly dark
brown color means she never shows the dirt. Put together nicely.
She might be the donkey to ornament your field, and give you
some lovely spotted foals down the road.

and Nina" |

Super Sweet! We have a pair of older brood jennets, retired from breeding, to go to a loving home where they will get lots of attention, and they will give it back to you as well. Cocoa is 20, and Nina is 18. Both jennets are known to be scared of horses, so we will not let them go to a home where there are horses. No breeding them either, they have done their part that way. Both are very gentle, easy to halter and lead anywhere. Cocoa is now laminitic, so she needs to be kept on a dirt lot with limited access to fresh green grass. She should be fed only grass hay, no grain. Cocoa gets a daily dose of pergolide which controls all her pain and symptoms. She can be seen trotting around her paddock feeling fine. Donkeys are long lived, not everyone wants to get donkey pets that are going to live for 30 years. These are great buddies. In this picture, Cocoa is on the left and Nina on the right. Are you looking for a pair of jennets like these? Call for more info on them!

is a super sweet jennet, with a rock solid structure. She is
very easy to work with, and her foals have shown a real aptitude
for driving. At her side is The Elms Ferrari Rosso, an extremely
dark red jack born May 15. Ferrari Rosso will be as rich a
red color as his sire, The Elms Red Fusion. Ferrari is gorgeous
running around the field. Dark red on the green background
is so beautiful. We do not often sell jennets with foals on
the side, but we know there are people who would love to get
a very young foal.
