Beautiful red and white spotted jenny, from the fabulous foundation brood jennet, Pon Farr. Absolutely correct conformation. She will probably frost out in the winter, turn more red roan in the summers.

She's a lively one! This jennet comes running right out of the field to see me, with all that hair flowing. Super friendly, super wooly! Loving this little jennet! She is getting darker every day, and I need to take some new pictures. She may turn out to be black and white spotted, but we won't know that until next summer. Wooly genes on both sides, so she should keep the long hair too.

Her mother is an elegant jennet, and it looks like Pepper will be that way too. She is darker than her mother, and seems not to show her cross. She has turned the auburn color that the black donkeys do in their foal coats. This picture, taken October 17, 2014, shows her in her foal coat, extra shaggy because of her sire's long haired genetics. I don't expect her to stay wooly, as her mother is quite sleek year round. Lovely fuzzy ears on a very correct jennet. Next summer she will be so gorgeous when she sheds out to be beautiful black, with white highlights.

Here's a lively little jack! Spunky is quite showy, with excellent conformation. He has a good spotted pattern, with color in the spots he might get dirty. His spots will probably darken up a bit as he matures. I like how his stripe and cross show in his dark spots. He also has the full dark mascara. His sire is wooly, but Dottie is not, so he won't be wooly either. Very nice little donkey, Lots of Spunk!

Update: He is now called The Elms Harley, and has gone to his new home!
